We are deeply committed to delivering quality education to the pupils of our school as we enrich the value of our pupils' schooling. The learning at school is centered around our VIsion, Pledge and Mission Statements. We actively seek to rach out to every child so that they will be citizens of good character, high morals and integrity.
Message from the Principal
All our children have returned safe and sound and not one child was hurt or injured over the December holiday.
- Our children have grown!
- The new children are happily going through the process of being Robert Hicksified.
- The new RHS After School Centre is almost ready to be used ~Mrs Claase and her staff can’t wait to move in!
- The new teachers have taken ownership of their classes, and leadership of their learners.
- A third grade R site has been opened with Mrs van der Merwe as facilitator.
- The entire sports field has received a thorough upgrading.
- Classes have been upgraded and painted.
- The whole grade 7 group received new furniture for the children.
- The staff room has been upgraded, painted, tiled, and curtained by the staff.
- The General assistants’ change rooms were tiled and upgraded.
- Mrs Aly had a baby boy on 25 January!
- Mrs Lakofski is to be seconded to Doornpoort primary as acting principal from 1 February.
- The Jack Ballard hall is receiving a new ceiling.
- New office bearers have been elected for the School Governing Body.
They are:
- Chairperson: Mrs Melissa Kuhn
- Treasurer: Mr Tsepo Molefi
- Secretary: Mrs Modike Motsi
Congratulations to them and thank you for your support.
- Mr Cal Stevenson (ex SGB Chairperson) and Mrs Michelle Stevenson (ex SGB secretary) have completed their term of office at the SGB. We will miss them indeed! They will always remain friends of RHS!
